About This Project

The Reckitt Impact Accelerator was a strategic program designed to identify and scale high-impact social enterprises. The first acceleration cycles were implemented in Brazil and South Africa.

The program supported social businesses developing innovative, scalable, and sustainable solutions to improve access to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), with a specific focus on:

• Enhancing and expanding access within existing infrastructure and service models
• Driving innovation and decentralization to shape more resilient systems for the future
• Catalyzing behavioral change and community engagement to ensure lasting impact
  

Through the Acceleration Program, participants gained access to:

• Capacity building and strategic consulting
• Mentorship
• Seed funding to invest in business growth

Project Scope

Full acceleration cycle and facilitation of  corporate connections with social businesses, encompassing:

• Integration into Reckitt value chains

• Problem research,
• Curation and selection of social businesses (at national, regional, or global levels)
• Partnership design
• Mentor recruitment and training
• Content development and program delivery
• Formalization of strategic partnerships
